Softball Recap: Borger Takes a Loss

After soaring to 29 runs the game before, Borger was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 10-2 to the Floydada Whirlwinds.

Lila Breedlove was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Borger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Floydada, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Borger will challenge Childress at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Floydada, they have already played their next contest, a 12-3 victory against Trinity Christian on the 25th.
