East Chambers is 9-1 against Hardin since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Chambers Buccaneers will square off against the Hardin Hornets at 5:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, East Chambers had to suffer through a 56-25 loss at the hands of Orangefield. The match marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hardin played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 66-40 to Buna. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for East Chambers, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12.

East Chambers beat Hardin 44-31 in their previous matchup on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Chambers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
