Volleyball Recap: Eustace Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

If Eustace was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westwood on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Palestine Wildcats on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

While Eustace was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.

Madison Truitt paced Eustace's offense, picking up ten kills. Truitt were helped by Bryleigh Powers and Landry Huggins, who contributed 12 assists each. Finally, Truitt was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Eustace's defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 20-3. As for Palestine, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Eustace wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Edgewood on the 9th. As for Palestine, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Huntington on the 9th.
