Soccer Game Preview: Beddingfield vs. Goldsboro

The Beddingfield Bruins will take on the Goldsboro Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beddingfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Beddingfield came up short against Spring Creek and fell 3-1. Glenda Mendoza was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Beddingfield's goal came courtesy of Iris Martinez, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Goldsboro's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Eastern Wayne, falling 3-0. The result was nothing new for Goldsboro as the squad haven't won a game since March 18th.

Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Goldsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-3.
