The South Delta Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ethel Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, South Delta put up the most points they have all season last Friday. They blew past West Bolivar 46-26. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

South Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Logic Powell and his one interception. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 19.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ethel took on Sebastopol on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 32-12 margin over the Bobcats. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.

South Delta's record now sits at 7-2. As for Ethel, their record is now 7-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. South Delta has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 230.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ethel struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 226.8 rushing yards.
