Basketball Game Preview: Bemidji Lumberjacks vs. Alexandria Cardinals

The Bemidji Lumberjacks will head out to challenge the Alexandria Cardinals at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Bemidji is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Moorhead just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost to the Spuds on the road by a 82-68 margin.

Meanwhile, Alexandria humbled Apollo with a 93-46 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-23.

Bemidji's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Alexandria, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Bemidji was taken down by Alexandria 74-30 in their previous meeting back in March. Can Bemidji avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
