Palestine has gone 9-1 against Rusk recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Palestine Wildcats will challenge the Rusk Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Palestine will be strutting in after a win while Rusk will be coming in after a loss.

Palestine will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Madisonville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Palestine snuck past Madisonville with a 41-37 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Rusk didn't have quite enough to beat Bullard on Tuesday and fell 49-47. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Palestine, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-17 record this season.

Palestine strolled past Rusk in their previous meeting on January 7th by a score of 57-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palestine since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
