Basketball Recap: Verndale Takes a Loss

Verndale lost against Pillager back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Verndale Pirates were dealt a 67-35 defeat at the hands of the Pillager Huskies. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Verndale's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Pillager, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Verndale will challenge Browerville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pillager, they will venture away from home to take on Upsala at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
