Fort Osage came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Belton, but Alekzander Colombo wouldn't allow it. The Belton Pirates walked away with a 70-62 win over the Fort Osage Indians on Tuesday thanks in part to Colombo, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high.

Gaven Blaise was another key player, putting up four points in addition to five assists and three steals. He has become a key player for Belton: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 5-12 otherwise.

Belton's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Fort Osage, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Belton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-53 win against Grain Valley on the 14th. As for Fort Osage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-33 victory against Chrisman on the 14th.
