Football Game Preview: Carrollton Warriors vs. Marlington Dukes

Carrollton is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Marlington Dukes at 7:00 p.m.

Carrollton's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Garfield on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Rams. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlington). They secured a 45-40 W over John F. Kennedy Catholic on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dukes considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Carrollton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Marlington, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Carrollton was able to grind out a solid victory over Marlington when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 24-17. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dukes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
