Softball Recap: Eastern York Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spring Grove on Monday, Eastern York came back down to earth. The Golden Knights took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennard-Dale Rams on Wednesday. The Golden Knights have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Eastern York's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Kennard-Dale, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastern York is set to square off against their familiar foe Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennard-Dale will challenge rival Susquehannock at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 2.4, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
