Volleyball Recap: Los Amigos Lobos vs. Western Pioneers

Los Amigos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Western Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

While Los Amigos was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Western's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Devin Lee paced Los Amigos' offense, picking up 14 kills. Lee got some help from Ruben Gonzalez and his 13 assists. Finally, Andy Phan kept Los Amigos' defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.
