Somerset has gone a perfect 3-0 against Washington County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Briar Jumpers will look to defend their home field against the Commanders at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Somerset's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last nine contests.

On Friday, Somerset strolled past Hazard with points to spare, taking the game 45-26.

Meanwhile, Washington County took a blow against Bardstown on Friday, falling 48-7. The Commanders have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Somerset's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.8 points over those games. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
