Soccer Recap: Point Pleasant Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ravenswood Red Devils. Point Pleasant were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ravenswood apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Point Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ravenswood, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Point Pleasant didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against St. Joseph Central on the 26th. As for Ravenswood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Williamstown on the 28th.
