Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Has No Trouble Against Timpview

Wasatch's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Timpview Thunderbirds 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wasps in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won three in a row.

Wasatch never let Timpview on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Chase Billeter paced Wasatch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Billeter got some help from Brody Hulme and his 22 assists. Billeter was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Wasatch's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Timpview, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wasatch will square off against rival Salem Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Timpview is set to take on their familiar foe Cedar Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
