First Baptist Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Heritage Classical Academy Griffins 3-0.

First Baptist Christian never let Heritage Classical Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-8.

Kate Burman paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Burman got some help from Joanna Wacker and her 22 assists. Brynn White controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

First Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, First Baptist Christian will square off against Westside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Classical Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christian Community at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
