Chamberlain hasn't had much luck against Wharton recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. Chamberlain will look to defend their home field  against Wharton  at 7:00  p.m. The last four games Chamberlain has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Tuesday, Chamberlain didn't have quite enough to beat Hillsborough and fell  3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by  exactly two  runs.
Chamberlain got a good showing from  Sebastian Rios, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Rios has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Chamberlain saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jaden Hyde, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Wharton had just enough and edged out Freedom  3-2 on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 Daniel Duno looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. What's more,  he gave up only three  hits, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 On the hitting side,  Justis Meadows and  Jarius Morris did most of the damage at the plate:  Meadows  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, while  Morris  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Wharton's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Chamberlain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
