Volleyball Recap: Clover Hill Takes a Loss

Clover Hill was the 3-0 winner over Hermitage when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Clover Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hermitage, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Clover Hill and Hermitage could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Cavaliers will square off against Cosby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (58 vs. 5). Meanwhile, Hermitage (ranked 73rd) will meet Manchester (ranked 18th) at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
