Soccer Game Preview: Vail Mountain vs. Roaring Fork

Vail Mountain hasn't had much luck against Roaring Fork recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers will look to defend their home pitch against the Rams at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Vail Mountain and Middle Park finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Colm Kinney hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

He was the only thing that stood between Vail Mountain and a shutout considering he scored both of Vail Mountain's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Roaring Fork was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Montrose.

Roaring Fork's draw gives them a new season record of 7-4-2. As for Vail Mountain, they moved theirs to 1-10-2.
