Soccer Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

West Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. 2025 welcomed they with a 7-0 loss courtesy of the New Hope Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in December of 2024.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for New Hope, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

West Point will face off against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Hope, they will square off against Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
