Volleyball Recap: Winchester Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Winchester had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Blue Devils.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17.

Quincy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Winchester will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Quincy, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against East St. Louis on the 30th.
