Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Academy Eagles vs. Pine Crest Panthers

The Calvary Christian Academy Eagles will take on the Pine Crest Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Calvary Christian Academy easily dispatched Berean Christian on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Calvary Christian Academy fell just short of Westminster Christian by a score of 40-37 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pine Crest waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sharks 55-24. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Pine Crest has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Calvary Christian Academy was taken down by Pine Crest 69-37 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Calvary Christian Academy was down 40-13.
