Basketball Game Preview: Towson Generals vs. Hereford Bulls

The Towson Generals are taking a road trip to square off against the Hereford Bulls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Towson will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Catonsville, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Towson made off with a 55-54 win over Catonsville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

Meanwhile, Hereford didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Owings Mills on Friday, but they still walked away with a 42-36 victory.

Towson is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Hereford, their record is now 7-9.

Towson strolled past Hereford in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 51-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Towson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
