Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cimarron was the 3-2 winner over Penasco when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Penasco scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Ashley Madrid, who had 15 digs.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Penasco, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

After both having extra time off, Cimarron and Clayton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Penasco, they will head out to square off against Santa Fe Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
