Recap: Skyline Raiders vs. Cedar Hill Longhorns

The Skyline Raiders lost against the Cedar Hill Longhorns back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Skyline ended up on the wrong side of a tough 73-52 walloping at the hands of Cedar Hill. Skyline has struggled against Cedar Hill recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Brown, who scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'liyah L anderson, who scored eight points.

Skyline's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-18. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cedar Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.

Skyline will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Duncanville at 6:30 p.m. Duncanville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 68.8 points per game this season. As for Cedar Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Hill is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
