Football Recap: Bishop Diego Skates Past Mater Academy East Las Vegas with Ease

Bishop Diego strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights 34-6.

Bishop Diego's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tua Puailoa Rojas, who rushed for 26 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 84 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Gabe Villa was another key back, rushing for 108 yards and one score on only 15 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Diego was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
