Softball Game Preview: Bruceville-Eddy Eagles vs. Granger Lions

The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Granger Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bruceville-Eddy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Bruceville-Eddy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Pflugerville Connally on Saturday. Bruceville-Eddy skirted past Pflugerville Connally 11-10.

Meanwhile, Granger had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mumford.

Bruceville-Eddy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Granger, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Bruceville-Eddy came out on top in a nail-biter against Granger when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 4-3. Does Bruceville-Eddy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Granger turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
