Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 46-33 to the Weston-McEwen TigerScots. The best among them was Osmin Barrera, who rushed for 207 yards and two scores while picking up 12.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 90 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 53 yards. Another player making a difference was Sergio Avalos, who rushed for 52 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Weston-McEwen, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
