Volleyball Recap: Pius XI Catholic Comes Up Short

Pius XI Catholic lost against Germantown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Popes fell 2-0 to the Warhawks.

Pius XI Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19.

Joseph Jackson paced Pius XI Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Jackson got some help from Finnley Beecham and his ten assists.

Pius XI Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Germantown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Pius XI Catholic will host Menomonee Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Germantown, they will square off against Madison West at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
