Baseball Recap: Superior Central Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Superior Central's offense. They came up short against the Norway Knights on Monday, falling 12-0. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Superior Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Superior Central will take on Stephenson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Norway, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Niagara on the 6th.
