Softball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Maranatha Christian Academy's last matchup with Southwest Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Mustangs lost 12-2 to the Stars. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Stars from their previous meeting back in May of 2018.

Kendall Capp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Maranatha Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Southwest Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian Academy will head out to take on Osseo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Dassel-Cokato at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
