Cameron Keller Turns in Season-Best Performance
Van Buren was led to victory by Cameron Keller, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Keller rushed for 151 yards and five touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Southside, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Keller. When Keller last faced the Mavericks back in September of 2023, he rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown.

Kane Archer and Co. Win 20th in a Row
Kane Archer was instrumental in extending Greenwood's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Lake Hamilton had no answer to Archer as he threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes, and also rushed for 89 yards on only seven carries. Archer is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Lake Hamilton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Archer. Archer threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in October of 2023.

Wilson Key Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Southside had to settle for second even though Wilson Key put up the best numbers he has all season. Key threw for 394 yards and four touchdowns.
Southside is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Key and Southside will take on Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Hamilton Gets a Boost from Jackson in 49-14 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Carson Jackson of Lake Hamilton. Jackson picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 72 yards on only six carries.incredibly, Jackson got all that yardage with just one huge grab
With the defeat, Lake Hamilton broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Jackson and Lake Hamilton will square off against Mountain Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
