Riverton won the last time they faced Herriman and things went their way on Friday too. The Silverwolves came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 13-8. The victory was nothing new for the Silverwolves as they're now sitting on five straight.

Jackson Young looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gage Zullo, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Gaige Woods, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Riverton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matches.

Riverton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Herriman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Riverton will face off against Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silverwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Herriman, they will challenge Copper Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
