Scottsdale Christian Academy dropped their record down to 12-6 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the San Tan Charter Roadrunners by a score of 3-1. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the six games prior), but the Roadrunners' pitchers proved too tough.

Scottsdale Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Kendrick, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

As for San Tan Charter, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 19-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.

On San Tan Charter's side, Ayden Aronowitz was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Aronowitz has launched this season.

Coming up, Scottsdale Christian Academy will square off against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Tan Charter, they will take on Lincoln Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
