Baseball Recap: Barnum Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Barnum's offense. They came up short against the Esko Eskomos on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bombers in their meetings with the Eskomos: they've now lost eight in a row.

Barnum's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Esko, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Barnum will host Two Harbors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bombers are facing the Agates at the right time seeing as the Agates are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Esko, they will challenge Mora at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
