Volleyball Recap: Lake Highlands Starts off Right with Win over Rockwall

Lake Highlands gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Rockwall Yellowjackets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 3, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lake Highlands got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 10-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13.

Looking ahead, Lake Highlands will take on Wakeland in a tournament on Friday. As for Rockwall, they will welcome Ursuline Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
