Lower Richland came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Crestwood, but Calvin Wofford wouldn't allow it. The Knights came out on top against the Diamond Hornets by a score of 27-14 on Friday thanks in part to Wofford, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

Lower Richland's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Solomon Kelson, who rushed for 111 yards, and Jordan Hargrave, who threw for 47 yards and one TD. Kelson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Crestwood's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lower Richland, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Crestwood will square off against rival Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lower Richland is set to take on their familiar foe Hartsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
