Hawken got themselves on the board against Western Reserve Academy on Friday, but Western Reserve Academy never followed suit. They came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 5-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Miles Hamilton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Gipson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Hawken's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Western Reserve Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hawken and Western Reserve Academy will both be playing North the next time they take the field. The Pioneers will head out to face the Rangers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
