Soccer Recap: Faith Christian Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Faith Christian walked away with it. They skirted past the Wayland Academy Big Red 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Faith Christian were the better team in the second half.

They hit Wayland Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Rothfuchs, Chase Reynolds, and Reid Bensheimer.

Faith Christian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Wayland Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Faith Christian will challenge Lake Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Lake Mills have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. Wayland Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
