Soccer Game Preview: Keene vs. Concord

The Keene Blackbirds will take on the Concord Crimson Tide at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Keene came up short against Bedford on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Keene haven't had much luck with Bedford recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Concord was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 5-1 to Nashua South. While losing is never fun, Concord can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Nashua South are ranked second).

Keene's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Keene took their victory against Concord in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1 score. Will the Blackbirds repeat their success, or do the Crimson Tide have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
