Football Recap: Joby Mccannon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Oconee over Marist + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, North Oconee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Marist War Eagles by a score of 23-20 on Friday. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

North Oconee lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joby McCannon, who rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Oconee fell to 12-1. As for Marist, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

North Oconee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marist, they will square off against Benedictine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: James Lasco and Stephen Cannon.
