Basketball Recap: North Cobb Christian's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If North Cobb Christian was riding high fresh off their 79-59 takedown of Furtah Prep last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 67-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James Clemens Jets on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, North Cobb Christian still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Chandler, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Tyson Matta, who earned 12 points and five rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Cobb Christian fell to 2-1. As for James Clemens, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

North Cobb Christian has already played their next matchup, a 78-56 victory against Dacula on the 26th. As for James Clemens, they will take on Buckhorn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jets will be up against the Bucks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
