Baseball Recap: Lynwood Comes Up Short

Lynwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 21-1 to the Mayfair Monsoons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Monsoons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 last Tuesday.

Lynwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mayfair, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Monsoons beat Lynwood by a score of 21-1 later that day.
