Soccer Recap: Fayette Ware Comes Up Short

Fayette Ware lost against Fayette Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2.

Chris Perdomo and Nakylan Hall scored both of Fayette Ware's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Fayette Ware has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-2 record this season. As for Fayette Academy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7-1.

Fayette Ware has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Haywood on the 24th. As for Fayette Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Middleton at 6:00 p.m. on May 5.
