Softball Recap: Tuslaw Takes a Loss

Tuslaw made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Manchester, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on Tuesday.

Dani Crescenze was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Tuslaw and nudges their season record down to 9-5. As for Manchester, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Tuslaw will venture away from home to take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester, they will welcome Triway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Titans a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
