Somers waltzed into their contest on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over the Pleasantville Panthers. The Tuskers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Katie Cole, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (five). Julia Peanamanda was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Somers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Somers' win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Pleasantville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Somers nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
