Preview: Manual Rams vs. Normal Community Ironmen
Manual is 1-8 against Normal Community since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Manual Rams will look to defend their home court against the Normal Community Ironmen at 6:30 p.m. Manual will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Normal Community is ranked 18th).
While it was all tied up 21-21 at halftime, Manual was not quite Bloomington's equal in the second half on Thursday. Manual fell 49-42 to Bloomington.
Meanwhile, Normal Community can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They put the hurt on Lincoln-Way West with a sharp 67-44 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Normal Community has posted since December 27, 2023.
Manual's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Normal Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
