Holy Redeemer faced Exeter Township in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Royals fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Royals' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Holy Redeemer sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 27-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Josh Rocha paced Holy Redeemer's offense, picking up 30 kills. Rocha got some help from Jack Wasiakowski and his 33 assists. Finally, Rocha was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Holy Redeemer's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Exeter Township, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
