Jemez Valley hasn't had much luck against Legacy Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Jemez Valley Warriors will head out to challenge the Legacy Academy Silverbacks at 2:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Legacy Academy entered their tilt with Monte Del Sol Charter on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 3-0 victory.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Legacy Academy was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 25-4.
Legacy Academy can attribute much of their success to Bella Montano, who had five digs and five aces, and Kaleigh Carrasco, who had five aces and four digs. That's the most aces Montano has posted since back in November of 2023.
Legacy Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive games.
Jemez Valley now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Legacy Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.
