Volleyball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Beats Cedartown for Their Fourth Straight Win

Southeast Whitfield County entered their tilt with Cedartown on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Leading Southeast Whitfield County to victory were Jacqueline Lopez and Dareen Mughrabi. Lopez had 16 digs and three aces, while Mughrabi had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Lopez has posted since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: Southeast Whitfield County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedartown only served nine.

Southeast Whitfield County's record is now 15-19. As for Cedartown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-28 record this season.

Southeast Whitfield County will head out on the road to take on Allatoona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cedartown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
